A few weeks ago, I saw a group that is interested in protecting the interests of the governor and the government in youth and sports matters. They wrote an important post about the Katsina United football team.
As we are about to resume to the second stanza of Nigerian premier league, the interim committee of this team are throwing a stone into the glass house to bring down the good image of the club. For taking wrong decisions as follows.
1. Everyone knows that the suspended management board have tried their best to hire experienced players and have paid for their 50% clearance. Most of them have contracts with foreign countries where the government will get a lot of income (revenue) because of this contract.
The worst thing is that according to the authentic story find out that the acting chairman goes behind the scenes without the knowledge of the government. He already on selling these materials and future players to other clubs withing and outside of the country.
A small examples like.
1. Mikel ibe He released him to Enyimbaa int'l Aba
2. Lawrence Edward released to Plateau United
3. Uzor chinedu released to Heartland F.c
4. Daniel Akambek released to Remo stars
5. Ibrahim yahya released to Kano pillars
6. Lukman Bello is now in Tunisia and signed with Birzerin C.A Tunisia
7. Anas Hassan signed an agreement with another club in Egypt, but he was released.
All these listed players owned by the state government have a two year contract with KATSINA UNITED and no one has spent one year in the tea, but no one knows the reason behind this dangerous decision, and no body's know how much this deal will cost,
No body's except interim chairman knows how much they have been sold all this big big players.
Only caretaker chairman will explain this.
This shows that the suspended management is ready to move this organization forward, but there was a lack of understanding and communication gab withing, Because they have recruited great players and paid them.
Finally, There is a true story from the NFF and NPFL. Said a caretaker committee chairman went to Abuja and wanted to get access to the D.M.S code number of KATSINA UNITED, the question is what will he do with it?
And also we requested to the interim chairman to explain how to spend the money about ten million naira sent to the KATSINA UNITED from startime TV company for TV Right ?
After a proper investigation up to time of writing this article their is no any single experience player sighn in the team to fill this wide gab. it is said that the opportunity to register new players is about to be close.
Is this not a bad provision that this interim committee is preparing for the incoming substantive management? In this way, the government should look into this situation, and whoever will come as chairman should know that he is facing a complete conspiracy that only God can save him.
Advice for those who emarge as management the prefer well because this is a big challenge for them and our state.
May almighty ALLAH Blessed and beloved governor for his self services to the development of the state in youth and sports as a whole.
